04.07.2023 – <\/strong>Robotic assistance systems enable technical, social and organizational solutions in the operating room. ForNeRo<\/a> (Research Network – Seamless and Ergonomic Integration of Robotics into the Clinical Workflow) is a project funded by the Bavarian Research Foundation that aims to improve the integration of systems while taking into account the needs and capacities of operating room staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Together with six research institutions, including the DLR Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics<\/a>, as well as five young medical technology startups, the optimal placement and use of the robotic systems will be researched. To this end, the Board of Trustees of the Bavarian Research Foundation decided on June 28, 2023, to support the Bavarian Research Network ForNeRo with around 2 million euros. To that end the Bavarian Research Foundation’s Board approved a funding package of around 2 million euros for the Bavarian Research Network ForNeRo on June 28, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
