18.08.2023 – <\/strong>This year’s 22nd Annual Meeting of the German Society for Computer- and Robot-Assisted Surgery (CURAC) will be held under the motto „Medical Robotics Week“.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The mission statement of CURAC is to motivate, guide and support the translation of innovative technologies from basic research, to clinical implementation through targeted collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n From Aug. 24 – Aug. 26, 2023, the CURAC program offers workshops and funding events in addition to the conference. In Basel, one of the most innovative cities in the world, the latest research in computer- and robot-assisted surgery will be presented and the exchange of scientific contributions and exciting discussions are expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Alexander Kirst from MIRO Innovation Lab<\/a> (Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics<\/a>) will present his paper on „A Novel End Effector for Telemanipulated Suturing in Robot-Assisted Laparoscopy“ in a session on Aug. 24.
