The event is a new global\nhealthcare platform and networks all actors from Science to industry, all the\nway to politics in an interdisciplinary manner. The challenges of the\nhealthcare sector will be discussed and chances that technological developments\nlike digitization, robotics or artificial intelligence offer, will be presented.\nThe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dlr.de\/rm\/en\/desktopdefault.aspx\/tabid-8017\/\">Institute of\nRobotics and Mechatronics<\/a> of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) drives cooperative\ninnovations with its <a href=\"https:\/\/miroinnovationlab.de\/\">MIRO Innovation\nLab<\/a>, a competence centre for medical robotics, and presents the Institute\nand its research work at the <a href=\"https:\/\/xpomet.com\/?lang=de\">XPOMET<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> Medicinale in Berlin<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>International scientific congress combined with\ninnovation fair<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More than\n100 international experts from research, development and industry contribute with\ntheir keynotes to the progress and forward-looking thinking in medicine. The\nscientific congress brings out many main points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the\nfirst day, which focuses on innovation and research, <strong>Professor Dr. Pascale Ehrenfreund<\/strong>, chief executive of the DLR,\nwill give a talk.The graduate Doctor of Astrophysics\nexplains how space exploration leads to most advanced medical technologies and\nfindings. Further topics include (amongst others) artificial intelligence and\nethics in medicine, eHealth and eMedicine, Smart Hospital and many more.
