For this reason, the DIH-HERO consortium decided to open a short additional call to support robotic technologies that got the potential to be used in the fight against COVID-19. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the very short duration  the call was successfully closed on the 17th of April with all in all 146 proposals submitted. The number of applications submitted included  numerous innovative ideas and projects, that made it not easy to choose the companies that received a funding.
