17 March 2021 – The German Surgeons Congress is the central forum for surgery in German-speaking countries and is taking place for the first time as a purely online congress this year. From April 13 to 16, the entire lecture program can be viewed live and later on demand.

Participants of the congress can choose a suitable program from four parallel streams. In addition, interactive chat modules, scientific symposia and expert talks on the accompanying virtual platform offer various options for networking with other participants, speakers and industrial partners.

Julian Klodmann from the MIRO Innovation Lab reports in his lecture on robotic assistance systems in surgery and diagnostics as well as current focus areas of research. On Friday, April 16, this can be viewed under the session “Use of telemedicine and robotics in pandemics and military operations”.
