From 24 to 27 June 2025, automatica will once again open its doors in Munich and this year will place a clear emphasis on the future of medical technology and robotics with its focus on healthtech. The world’s leading trade fair for intelligent automation and robotics is focussing on innovative technologies that help to relieve the burden on the heavily stressed healthcare system. Against the backdrop of demographic change, a growing shortage of skilled labour and increasing demands, automated, intelligent and AI-based solutions are becoming increasingly important. They enable work processes to be organised more efficiently and support stable care in medical facilities. From automated processes in pharmacies to the use of service robots in care facilities, practice-oriented applications will be presented at the trade fair that both reduce the workload of staff and improve the quality of care.

As part of the new focus, the Healthtech Pavilion (Hall A4) will be realised in cooperation with the MedtecLIVE trade fair. This area will present innovative solutions and the latest developments in medical technology and robot-assisted surgery. The offering will be complemented by the MedtecSUMMIT on 25 and 26 June, which will feature forward-looking presentations and discussions on the medical and technological challenges facing the industry. The two-day event, organised by Bayern Innovativ, offers a first-class opportunity for networking and knowledge exchange with leading experts and companies from the healthtech sector.
