The 23rd Annual Conference of the German Society for Computer- and Robot-Assisted Surgery (CURAC) will be held in Leipzig under the motto “Digitalization and Translation in Surgery”.

After CURAC has made a significant contribution to the further development of this year’s theme in recent years, the latest research on digitalization and translation in surgery will now be presented in the form of lectures, workshops and poster sessions from the 12th to the 14th of September 2024. The conference also offers an excellent opportunity for experts from science and clinics to discuss innovative applications.

Julian Klodmann and Michael Dyck from the MIRO Innovation Lab (Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics) will present their abstract “Intraoperative Robotic Ultrasound Imaging – Towards Collaborative, Versatile, and Safe Tissue Scanning” in a session on September 12. This was also ranked as one of the five best papers at CURAC.

CURAC’s mission statement is to promote, accompany and support technologies from basic research to clinical implementation through targeted collaboration.
